North Redington Beach, FL Plumbing & Electrical Services

A+ BBB · Licensed since 1994

North Redington Beach is a small barrier-island town in Pinellas County, sandwiched between Redington Shores and Redington Beach along Gulf Boulevard. Like its neighbors, the town is primarily residential with a mix of beachfront condos, single-family homes on the Intracoastal side, and a building stock that ranges from mid-century to recently elevated rebuilds.

Titan Plumbing and Electric serves North Redington Beach homeowners and condo owners with licensed plumbing and electrical work suited to coastal construction and salt-air conditions.

Plumbing Concerns Common in North Redington Beach

Salt air, slab and pier construction, and a mix of building eras define the plumbing realities here. Older homes may carry galvanized or aging copper supply lines, while newer rebuilds typically use PEX. Condo buildings have shared stacks and in-unit shutoffs that need ongoing attention, and outdoor showers and hose bibs across the island wear out faster than inland equivalents.

Water heater replacement, drain cleaning, and outdoor plumbing repairs make up a large share of routine work in this town.

  • Repipes for galvanized and aging copper
  • Tank and tankless water heater service
  • Condo unit shutoff and fixture work
  • Outdoor shower and hose bib repair
  • Backflow testing and repair
  • Drain cleaning and camera inspection

Electrical Work We Do in North Redington Beach

Lightning exposure and salt-air corrosion both shape electrical priorities on the barrier islands. Older panels, corroded meter cans, and worn outdoor receptacles are common findings. Whole-home surge protection is one of the most worthwhile upgrades for coastal property owners, and elevated rebuilds usually need their grounding and service entrances revisited.

We handle code-compliant panel work, generator integration, and outdoor and pool wiring tailored to coastal homes.

Why North Redington Beach Homeowners Choose Titan

Titan Plumbing and Electric is a Florida-licensed plumbing and electrical contractor serving the Pinellas barrier islands. One company across both trades simplifies coastal projects, post-storm repairs, and remodels where plumbing and electrical work overlap.

We recently had our two water heaters replaced. Ariel did a great job making sure that they were installed and working. We have an older house and Ariel had to solve some connection issues to get everything installed and operational. Titan was professional and skilled and the hot water and water pressure are great now.

After this year's hurricanes, Titan is the only business I can rely on to show up when they say they will be there. Months after the storms blew through, we struggle to work with any company because the supply chain is so limited. I wish all companies were as honest as Titan. Their field technicians are not only highly skilled but very kind. Thank you Titan for your enduring commitment to integrity and great service!

I was running late getting home and the plumber waited for an hour on me. I appreciate him and his partner's patience. They fixed my issue fast and didn't complain. I haven't had a problem with my plumbing thus far. This is the company I would love to come fix my plumbing issues and I will refer them to friends in a heartbeat.

Very impressed. Was in a bind on a Saturday. Victor came out within 90 minutes of my call and was very knowledgeable about the Flologic leak detection system we had that showed a possible leak. Within 15 minutes he advised the issue was with the valve for that system that got stuck in the off position. He fixed it, tested the system and we were good to go. I'm very thankful for getting in touch with the right company. Victor was very professional, friendly, and if we have any further plumbing or electric issues we will call Titan.

Thank you to Travis, Brian, and Pete at Titan! We had a great experience with their plumbing and electrical work. They showed up on time, were easy to communicate with, and got everything done quickly and professionally. The plumbing issues were fixed without any hassle, and the electrical work was completed neatly and works perfectly. They explained everything along the way, cleaned up after themselves, and were respectful of our home. Highly recommend them for any plumbing or electrical needs.

Travis, employed by Titan Plumbing, is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet. The son of the owner, he treats people with 110% satisfaction. Great guy. I tell all my neighbors and friends about the job he did.

FAQ

North Redington Beach Plumbing & Electrical FAQs

What North Redington Beach homeowners ask us most often.

Who issues permits in North Redington Beach?
The Town contracts its building department services to SafeBuilt, which issues permits and enforces building and zoning code on the Town's behalf. The building department line is (727) 202-6825, weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. North Redington Beach also adopted the Pinellas County fee schedule, so permit costs track the county's even though the county is not doing the reviews.
Do contractors have to register with the Town first?
Yes. North Redington Beach runs a contractor registration and permit portal, and registration comes before a permit can be pulled. Homeowners can permit work on a single family or two family residence they occupy themselves, provided the property is not listed for sale or lease. That exception rules out rental units, which describes a large share of the housing here.
Which utilities serve North Redington Beach?
Pinellas County Public Utilities handles potable water, reclaimed water, and sewer. Duke Energy supplies electricity. Clearwater Gas System serves natural gas, but only to select addresses in town rather than the whole island. Confirm gas is available at your specific address before you buy a gas water heater or range, because your neighbor having service does not guarantee you do.
The town is tiny. Does that change anything for repairs?
North Redington Beach covers 0.26 square miles of land with 1,495 residents, which is a stretch of Gulf Boulevard only a few blocks deep. Every property sits close to salt water on both sides, so equipment ages faster than its rated life. Meter cans, exterior disconnects, and outdoor condensing units show it first, often within five to ten years of installation.
Why does my breaker panel keep tripping since the storms?
Salt intrusion and surge water both leave conductive residue inside a panel, and corroded breaker clips lose contact pressure, which shows up as nuisance trips and breakers that run warm. Anything that sat in Helene's surge needed replacement rather than drying. Panel and breaker replacement is a routine job here on equipment nowhere near the end of its rated life.
Half the buildings look empty in September. Is that normal here?
Yes. The 2020 Census counted 1,264 housing units against 781 households, a 38.2 percent vacancy rate, with a median age of 59. Most of that gap is seasonal condos and short term rentals. Empty units are where a failed water heater or a burst supply line runs for days, so an accessible unit shutoff and a leak sensor matter more here than in a year round neighborhood.
Does the condo association control my plumbing?
In most of the multifamily buildings along Gulf Boulevard the association owns the vertical risers, stacks, and anything inside common walls, while the owner owns fixtures, supply lines, and the water heater inside the unit. Find out which riser valve serves your stack before work starts. Where one valve covers several units, neighbors have to be notified and scheduled around.
